Originally from a small suburb outside of Boston Massachusetts, Brent learned to play drums at an early age, jamming along to Beatle and Grand Funk Railroad records. Self taught and quick to learn he soon began playing with the original hard rock band Nightrider in the early 80’s and various cover bands before moving south in 2005.

Since his arrival in Charlotte he has performed and recorded with acclaimed southern rock band Preacher Stone on their Uncle Bucks Vittles release as well as playing the Lynyrd Skynyrd Simple Man Cruise and recently performed at the Melodic Rock Fest 3 in Chicago with Line of Fire.

Brent has toured up and down the East Coast rocking clubs with various tribute bands and has shared the stage with such bands as Ratt, Jackyl, Black Stone Cherry and Kings X to name a few. Regarding his style he has a “no-nonsense approach” to the drums; “I like to lay down a big back beat and have fun doing it. I always play for the song and try to give the crowd the best show I can”. Brent sites the “classic” rock drummers such as John Bonham, Cozy Powell and Don Brewer as his main influences.

A true multi-instrumentalist Brent released his critically acclaimed self titled solo cd, “Wildman” in 2012 in which he played all the instruments and performed all the vocals. He is also the drummer for the Charlotte based hard rock band Blanco Diablo
